Software Engineer / Developer

Job Type: Full time, On-Site, potential for Hybrid

Clearance Requirements: Existing TS/SCI clearances are strongly desired; ability to be cleared to Top Secret is workable.

Northstrat has various positions available, such as front-end, back-end, and full stack software engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions.

As a Northstrat software engineer, you will have the opportunity to join teams that deliver strategic IT solutions for the defense and intelligence sectors. You will tackle complex challenges, using cutting-edge technologies to build scalable and secure solutions with DevSecOps and Agile methods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement software enhancements for mission systems in Federal Government agencies
2. Integrate multiple applications and systems to streamline workflows
3. Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions for mission problems
4. Use diagrams to document software functionality
5. Build scalable and secure solutions
6. Communicate effectively through end user instructions or manuals
7. Perform code reviews and provide feedback
8. Apply R&D techniques to bring products from idea to production
