Job summary

HUD builds infrastructure to create RL training data and evals for frontier AI agents, as well as a marketplace to sell these to frontier labs. The team is ~25 people, mostly full-time in-person but some remote, with backing from top VCs and YC W25.

HUD is seeking a capable engineer to translate hands-on quality workflows into reliable internal products, designing dashboards and data workflows, and collaborating with research teams to improve tool usage and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in Python and a modern web stack like TypeScript and React.
• Built internal or user-facing products end-to-end.
• Comfort working with research teams to understand tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack tools for task review, trajectory inspection, and grader checks.
• Design dashboards, backend services, and data workflows for quality metrics.
• Investigate live workflow issues and prevent repeat failures.
