Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Reston, VA to design, develop and deploy data-centric solutions for DoD, IC and Federal customers. You will build ETL pipelines, microservices and APIs, using Python, Java, React and modern container platforms.

Candidate will work in a DevOps-focused environment across AWS, Azure and other clouds, with strong emphasis on CI/CD, testing and code quality. Remote options may apply depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with data centric security solutions and software engineering.
• Programming in Python and Java.
• Experience with React and ETL processes.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift and container ecosystems.
• Experience with CI/CD, release engineering and automated testing.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and other cloud services.
• Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic or WebSphere.
• Strong Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban).
• Database experience (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB).
• DevOps-focused background is a big plus.
• Proven track record delivering quality systems for development teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
