Job summary

Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain software for Electronic Warfare and related systems. You will work on firmware, software, and associated digital capabilities, with opportunities to contribute across the lifecycle and supporting environments.

The role requires 3+ years of professional software development experience and proficiency in languages such as Python, C, C++, or Java.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing, coding, integrating, testing, and maintaining software in a structured engineering environment.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with software testing (unit/integration/system-level).
• Familiarity with git-based version control and software configuration management practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, and maintain software and firmware for EW systems and related environments.
• Plan, design, code, test, integrate, and deliver algorithms and software in support of customer requirements.
• Analyze system-level requirements to validate test definitions and acceptance criteria.
• Perform requirements validation, traceability analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation planning for software upgrades.
• Support software testing activities including unit and integration testing, IV&V, and regression analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, UAT, and development of automated test results and documentation.
