Job summary

Nightwing in the United States seeks a Level 0 Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics and real-time processing. You will determine design parameters, review implementations, and deliver robust software components aligned with requirements.

Requires a BS in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of software engineering experience; four additional years may substitute for the degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two years of software engineering experience.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or repositories.
