Pangram Labs is hiring a Software Engineer to craft product experiences and deliver customer solutions. You will be the primary technical contact in customer Slack channels, handling bugs, feature requests, and building integrations and infrastructure for diverse customers.

This early-career role offers growth toward technical leadership as you learn our detection models and APIs. You’ll work with Python, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, and frontend tech like React/Next.js while collaborating

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience or a strong internship background.
• Proficient in Python; comfortable with REST APIs, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Proficient in frontend development (React, Next.js).
• Strong written communicator able to explain tech to engineers and non-technical customers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and switching between customer conversations and code.
• Interest in AI/ML products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own bugs and feature requests from intake to completion with engineering alignment.
• Serve as the primary technical contact in customer Slack channels; triage and respond.
• Build, scope, and maintain custom integrations, deployments, and infra for unique customers.
• Reproduce issues and ship fixes or hand off to engineering as needed.
• Support onboarding and API integration with samples, docs, and debugging.
• Track requests and surface patterns to Product for the roadmap.
• Develop and maintain internal playbooks and docs for customer setups.

We're building a growing team focused on solving critical detection challenges for customers across sectors.

The Role

We are hiring a Software Engineer to build great product experiences and deliver solutions for our customers. You will be the technical point of contact in customer Slack channels, the owner of a variety of customer reported bugs and feature requests, and build custom integrations and infrastructure for a diverse set of customers. This is an early-career engineering role for someone who is excited to ship code that customers use and make direct impact on a daily basis. You'll develop deep knowledge of our detection models and API, work closely with our engineering teams, and have a clear path towards technical career development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own bugs and feature requests from intake through completion, working in coordination with the engineering team as required
• Operate as the primary technical point of contact in customer Slack channels; triage, respond, and elevate as needed
• Build, scope, and maintain custom integrations, deployments, and infrastructure for customers with non-standard requirements
• Reproduce customer-reported issues and ship fixes or provide handoffs for the engineering team
• Support customer onboarding and API integration with samples, technical documentation, and hands-on product debugging and support
• Track requests and issues, and surface patterns to Product as input for our roadmap
• Develop and maintain internal playbooks and documentation for customer-specific setups

Ideal candidate profile

• 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong internship/project background
• Proficient in Python; comfortable working with REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD
• Proficient in frontend development (React, Next.js)

Compensation

• $120,000-$150,000 base salary + equity
