Job summary

Qualifications

Designing, building, and scaling a Fleet Operations Platform to maintain thousands of compute machines and millions of customer workloads. Providing technical expertise and leadership for your team. Working on the software running on the hosts in our data centers. Improving internal processes and systems on a consistent basis. Developing thorough and largely automated test suites for functional and regression testing to ensure fault tolerance and error handling. Troubleshooting upgrade failures, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and resolve edge cases across the hypervisor and Linux host stack. Do what you love Have extensive, relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Be proficient in Python/Go for backend automation, REST APIs, and CLI scripting, with SQL database experience for state and metadata tracking. Possess experience designing, building, and scaling microservices architectures in production environments. Demonstrate your experience working with Linux based OS, Virtualization, KVM and Live Migrations. Demonstrate your experience with evaluating data using statistics or data Can effectively do troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Have the ability to discuss abstract software architectures from ideas through implementation and creatively apply domain experience to solve technical challenges. Be a collaborative team player who excels at joint problem-solving within an agile/Scrum environment.
