Responsibilities include software platform maintenance and hypervisor upgrades within the expanding infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining test suites to verify hypervisor upgrades and ensure consistent service functionality.

• Developing and maintaining automated test cases with Python and Pytest to validate backend control plane services, REST APIs, and CLI utilities.
• Developing functional and integration tests for virtual machine lifecycle operations, live migrations, and KVM hypervisor updates within host stack validation.
• CI/CD & Automation Integration: Integrate test suites into continuous integration pipelines to ensure regular automated regression execution.
• Investigating test failures, identifying root causes, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Possess relevant experience in software test automation or quality engineering, totaling two or more, with education in technical fields.
• Demonstrate expertise in Python programming and practical experience using test automation frameworks such as Pytest effectively.
• Demonstrate expertise in Linux environments and foundational CI/CD pipeline integration using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions effectively.
• Validate frontend test automation using TypeScript and web testing tools like Cypress or Playwright for unified control pane UI accuracy. - nice to have.
• Utilize Linux hypervisors, KVM, VM live migrations, and low-level host stack operations knowledge in these areas is advantageous.
• Utilize tools like SaltStack, Ansible, or ArgoCD for infrastructure configuration management; experience with these is advantageous.
