Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer to advance the next iteration of CI/CD through Dynami c Releases and a smart orchestration layer. You will own services powering Amazon’s releases and enable thousands of engineers to deploy changes with reduced manual interventions.

You will work with diverse teams to shape the future of developer tooling at Amazon, where developer communities are both customers and testers for ongoing innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design/architecture experience for large-scale systems
• 1+ years of SDE or related experience
• 1+ years developing multi-tiered, distributed software
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field
• Experience programming in at least one major language

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high-impact problems that impede AWS software development
• Decompose complex builder problems into simple scalable solutions
• Collaborate with AWSBA, ASBX and AWS builder teams to build and operate the designed solutions
• Deliver meaningful improvements weekly while working toward long-term transformation
• Re-imagine how developers build and operate the software that underpins the world's largest cloud
• Drive significant transformation across AWS engineering
