Job summary

SendCutSend in Reno, NV is seeking a Software Engineer to build intuitive tools that help customers turn their designs into manufactured parts with less CAD complexity. You will collaborate with Product, Production, Design, and Support to translate requirements into reliable software and to ship features that improve the design-to-production workflow.

You will write clean, tested code, participate in reviews, and work on performance tuning and automation to scale order volume.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience shipping production software.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Python/Django.
• Experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as Vue or React.
• Experience building web applications end to end.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software features in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Communicate project status, progress, and blockers clearly to leadership and team members.
• Contribute to improving the customer experience across the design-to-production workflow.
• Build and maintain tools that validate and improve customer CAD files.
• Improve internal processes and automation to support order volume growth.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews to improve system quality.
• Optimize database queries and application performance.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Production, Design, and Support to deliver meaningful improvements.
• Continuously learn and improve technical skills.
