Job summary

enGen in the United States is seeking a versatile software engineer to design and deliver scalable applications across digital channels. You will own architectural views, drive technical execution, and ensure production stability through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in modern languages, web services, and cloud platforms, with a track record in delivering robust, maintainable code within an agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Closely Related Field
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related Field
• 3 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in scalable systems
• 3 years of experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica) and experience with React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS
• 3 years of understanding web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code adhering to coding standards; perform code reviews.
• Explore and implement appropriate technical solutions to achieve features; monitor technical process against project plan.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies; assist in sprint planning and complete required sprints.
• Drive story creation with DoD, Acceptance Criteria, estimation; create Tasks in RTC or Jira.
• Monitor production schedule and report issues to lead developers; provide progress updates.
• Mentor other associate software engineers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
