Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking engineers to help build Kiro Crew, an autonomous agent layer that tackles development tasks and learns across sessions. You will join a team solving novel AI/ML challenges at scale, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of Kiro Crew.
• Work directly with customers to uncover real-world development challenges and translate them into product capabilities.
• Build and operate production systems using CI/CD practices to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to full lifecycle decisions, from architecture to hands-on feature development.
• Balance innovation with operational excellence to meet scale and security standards.
