Job summary

Amazon's AWS division is building Kiro, a frontier developer tool that independently tackles development tasks, maintains context, and learns from its work. We are seeking engineers who want to shape this transformation, solving novel problems at the intersection of AI and software engineering.

You'll shape technical direction, work with customers, and operate production systems with industry-leading CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of Kiro.
• Work with customers to translate challenges into product capabilities.
• Build and operate production systems with CI/CD for reliability and scale.
• Deliver features that improve how developers work, with fast, cross‑platform UX.
