LOTUS is looking for a software engineer to design and build internal data tools and research systems that empower a small team with the leverage of a larger one. You will turn unstructured information into a competitive edge and own critical components end to end.

You will design data pipelines, research tooling, and AI systems used daily by the investment team. This role demands shipping quality software with strong collaboration and rapid iteration in a data‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production software, ideally with data‑intensive systems.
• Fluency in a modern backend language and comfort across the full stack.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs or applied machine learning is a strong plus.
• A bias toward shipping and a high bar for quality.
