Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join AWS Connect in New York. You will own code end-to-end from design to development and work closely with senior technical leaders across AWS to innovate on a new service that addresses customer needs for modern contact centers.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals and experience across the stack with modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI/ML, Big Data, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
