Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners in San Francisco, CA is seeking a software engineer to build the growth infrastructure for an AI training data marketplace. You will partner with the growth team to improve how experts are sourced, assessed, onboarded, and matched to projects, with opportunities to develop recommendation systems over time.

You will own marketplace systems for outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding; develop tooling to match experts to projects by fit and availability;

Qualifications

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience delivering end-to-end projects.
• Proficiency with Node.js or Python, Kubernetes, and scaling core infrastructure.
• Experience with marketplace or growth infrastructure, ideally at a high-growth startup or in an AI data setting.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch is a plus.
• An undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university in the United States, Canada, or Europe.
• Strong ownership, comfort working closely with non-engineering partners, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Build and own marketplace systems for expert outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding.
• Develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects based on fit and availability.
• Automate manual workflows and create internal tools that help the growth team work more efficiently.
• Work with growth teammates to find funnel bottlenecks, measure performance, and deliver improvements.
• Help develop machine learning-driven recommendations to anticipate project staffing needs.
