Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a senior software engineer to build the infrastructure that powers expert outreach, onboarding, and matching for an applied AI data company.

You will own marketplace systems, develop tools to match experts to projects by skills and availability, and create automations to improve throughput. The role requires on-site work in San Francisco with a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a track record of owning projects end to end.
• Proficiency with Node.js or Python and experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building or scaling core infrastructure at a high-growth startup, trading firm, or early-stage company.
• A bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded university in the US, Canada, or Europe.
• Marketplace, growth infrastructure, or human data experience is a plus.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch is helpful.
• Comfort working on-site five days a week with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Build and own marketplace systems for expert outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding.
• Develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects based on skills and availability.
• Create automations and internal tools that improve operational throughput and reduce manual work.
• Partner with growth teammates to identify bottlenecks, measure funnel performance, and ship improvements.
• Help develop machine learning-based recommendations to anticipate expert needs and improve project staffing.
