Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering for senior roles or 7+ years for staff with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience shipping products in a fast-growing startup with high velocity amid ambiguity.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js skills; design of distributed systems, APIs and data models.
• Experience building and operating production AI agent systems and evaluating prompts, retrieval, and orchestration.
• Strong product judgment with applied AI, marketplaces, or operational workflows.
• Comfort using coding agents to turn ambiguous problems into working prototypes.
• Strong technical fundamentals and a history of sustained roles.

Responsibilities

• Apply frontier models and agents to automate sourcing, vetting, matching, and worker placement workflows.
• Build and evolve agent harnesses, evaluations, orchestration patterns, and model integrations.
• Architect core backend services and platform systems including matching and vetting pipelines.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability across APIs, data models, and distributed services.
• Make architectural decisions with a long-term view while adapting priorities to needs.
• Collaborate across teams and with customers to translate problems into production-ready systems.
