KLA Corporation is hiring a Software Engineer in Milpitas, CA to join the system software engineering group. You will develop and maintain on-tool backend software for laser scanning wafer inspection and work with a cross-functional team to deliver high-impact solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in CS/Engineering or a Bachelor’s with 2 years of experience, strong fundamentals in OO design and data structures, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with programming in Java or C++.
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Design, Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: Python scripting.
• Domain knowledge in EDA, Image Processing, Image Computing, Machine Control.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain on-tool, back-end software modules for Laser Scanning Wafer inspection products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact software solutions.
• Contribute to software design, testing and maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
