Job summary

Dell Technologies in Hopkinton, MA is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join the AI Development & Agent Ops team. You will design, build, and operate the services that empower thousands of engineers to develop with AI at scale.

Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams on the enterprise agentic SDLC transformation, implementing CI/CD, tooling, and reusable frameworks to accelerate developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software engineering role.
• Deep hands-on familiarity with modern software development practices — CI/CD, DevOps, developer tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous problems, structure them, and deliver concrete outputs.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — translate technical complexity into clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate the agentic harness including CI/CD integrations, pipeline quality gates, orchestration capabilities, and MCP integrations for end-to-end agent workflows.
• Develop and manage the agent lifecycle framework, including versioning, testing, validation, compliance reviews, deployment processes, and release management within the enterprise agent registry.
• Build and maintain shared services, reusable frameworks, developer tooling, and cross-platform integrations to accelerate adoption and ensure consistency.
• Define, implement, and maintain technical standards for knowledge base content, metadata, structure, and accessibility for agentic systems and workflows.
• Drive engineering best practices across the agentic ecosystem—automation, testing, observability, reliability, and continuous improvement of platform performance and developer experience.
