Job summary

Clutch Canada is looking for a skilled Software Engineer for their Data side of the AI team. This role involves all aspects of data collection to support model training operations at Speechify. You will find new sources of audio data, operate cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with scientists to enhance dataset quality.

The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, 5+ years of experience in software development, and proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly GCP. Competitive salary and equity offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (GCP).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Find new sources of audio data for ingestion.
• Operate cloud infrastructure on GCP and manage with Terraform.
• Collaborate on the dataset roadmap for the AI Team.
