Job summary

Clutch Canada is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Data side of our AI team at Speechify. You will be responsible for all aspects of data collection to support model training operations, finding new audio data sources, and collaborating closely with scientists.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science with 5+ years of software development experience, proficient in Bash/Python and Docker. This position offers a competitive salary from $140,000 to $200,000 plus bonuses in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Experience with web crawlers and large‑scale data processing workflows is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Find new sources of audio data for ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline running on GCP.
• Collaborate to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap.
