Job summary

Lumeris in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative team building SaaS products. You will participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, focusing on cloud-native data layers and AI-enabled features.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of enterprise development with Typescript, Node.js and Python, plus familiarity with AI models, LLMs, and Terraform in a cloud environment. On-site in Cambridge 3 days/week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
6+ years development experience in an enterprise environment.
Experience with Typescript, Node.js and Python.
Experience with data storage solutions and access patterns.
Understanding of AI foundational models and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with IaC deployment patterns (Terraform).
Plus: serverless, event-driven architectures, healthcare data, GCP.
Able to work in Agile environments and strong communicational skills.

Responsibilities

Participates in all phases of the software development life-cycle in a SaaS environment.
Develops data layer in a cloud-native setting.
Uses AI accelerator tools and LLMs in development tasks.
Demos features to peers and leaders.
Mentors junior developers and develops internal UIs.
Adheres to industry best practices in software development.
