Job summary

You will collaborate across teams, apply robust engineering practices, and help translate user requirements into effective software in a dynamic defense context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for production-grade apps.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to work across architecture, integrations, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain mission-focused software using Python and other languages.
• Design APIs, backend services, data processing components, and system integrations.
• Apply solid software engineering principles including modular design and tests.
• Integrate software with databases, data platforms, and external services.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality.
• Build, package, and deploy apps using Docker and containerization tech.
• Support deployment in cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and restricted environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and government customers to translate needs.
