Job summary

SageCor Solutions LLC in the Maryland/DC area is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer (SWE) with a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance. The role requires 20 years of SWE experience on programs of similar scope and a related BS degree or equivalent substituted experience.

Candidates should demonstrate strong Linux CLI skills, Java/Spring development, and hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring/Grafana/Prometheus. OpenSearch/Elasticsearch experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Required Experience:

Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux command line interface.
• Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and containerd.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience using Git for version control.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
• Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
• Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
• Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi disciplinary team.
