Job summary

Captivation is seeking a senior software engineer to lead mission-critical system development, deployment, and evolution for satellite communication systems. You will focus on development, deployment, and administration of complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPU technologies.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who will be in a extremely customer facing role leading multi faceted mission critical system development, deployment and evolution. The successful candidate will be focusing on the development, deployment, and administration of complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPU technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our satellite communication systems, from development to deployment, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements.

Requirements

Security Clearance

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required

• Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Specifically Rancher, RKE2 implementation
  • Controle plane component configuration and troubleshooting
