Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE2) to design, develop, and maintain tools supporting the CLEVERCHEMIST suite, including GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, and Jupyter. The role emphasizes Java development, Linux environments, scripting, and DevOps practices.

You will collaborate with engineers, admins, and mission customers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for mission-critical operations, with Docker, GitLab CI, and IaC tooling playing a central role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Seven (7) years of Software Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software tools and services for CLEVERCHEMIST product suite.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and integrations.
• Create Bash/Python/PHP scripts to automate tasks and workflows.
• Integrate development platforms, repositories, and services to improve delivery.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Ansible and IaC.
