Our client, a large e-commerce platform, offering a wide variety of products through online and physical stores, is looking for someone to join their team as a Software Dev Engineer. This role is remote.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract*

In this role, you will collaborate with other experienced and senior software engineers to drive improvements to the client's technology, design and develop new customer-facing products and interfaces, and build and track metrics to ensure high-quality results.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Framework
• Experience building APIs with GraphQL
• Strong background with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure
• Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing and operating scalable, distributed systems

What You Will Be Doing

• Build scalable software products to solve business problems
• End-to-end project delivery including design, coding, testing, and release
• Participate in daily scrum meetings
• Attend weekly team meetings and technical discussions
• Biweekly sprint planning
• On-call rotations
• Occasional team social, organizational events, lab visits, and site visits
