Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Roc Search is currently working with a leading technology organization that is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team.

As the Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in helping build a cutting-edge internal AI platform, designed to transform the way users give and receive feedback. This LLM-powered tool will directly support performance reviews by integrating with Workday and the internal systems, enabling managers and employees to generate high-quality summaries and interact with our career frameworks via natural language queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• PDesign and build a 0→1 enterprise-grade, user-facing product powered by Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Integrate securely with Workday APIs andthe company's internal systems, ensuring proper authentication and data access controls
• Architect and maintain a sandboxed data index, ensuring user-specific data access
• Lead or contribute to key technical decisions regarding tech stack and system integration
• Develop accessible and responsive front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Build RESTful APIs and backend logic using FastAPI (Python) and PostgreSQL
• Leverage OpenAI APIs and LlamaIndex for semantic search and summarization capabilities
• Collaborate in agile sprints, using tools like Asana or Jira to track bugs, enhancements, and user feedback
• Contribute to internal UI libraries and design systems, promoting consistency and accessibility across platforms

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in backend development, especially with Python, FastAPI, and external API integrations
• Proficiency with modern front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript, and responsive UI design
• Deep understanding of OAuth workflows, particularly for enterprise apps
• Familiarity with Workday data models and HRIS system integration
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, product, and people teams to ship high-quality software
• Comfortable operating in an agile team environment and contributing to team rituals (standups, retros, sprint planning)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with OpenAI APIs or similar LLMs (e.g., Anthropic, Cohere)
• Familiarity with Workday APIs, internal HR tech stacks, or enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Asana, or Greenhouse
• Previous work on performance feedback platforms, career frameworks, or people enablement tools
• Portfolio of past projects, showing real-world examples of problem-solving, UI/UX, and integration capabilities
