Job summary

Writesonic is seeking an early‑career full‑stack software engineer with a frontend emphasis to build polished web products. You’ll own features end to end—from UI implementation to backend integration—working across the stack with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Python.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, optimize performance, and contribute to testing, debugging, and code quality in a fast‑paced, venture‑backed environment that values hands‑on engineering and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional full‑stack development experience, preferably with a frontend bias.
• Strong working knowledge of TypeScript and React or Next.js.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Working knowledge of Python and backend application logic.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JWT authentication.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and communication skills.

The work spans user interfaces, backend logic, API integrations, performance, testing, and debugging, with ownership of features from implementation through delivery. Success requires both attention to user experience and the ability to work comfortably across the application stack.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• One to three years of professional full-stack development experience, preferably with a frontend bias.
• Strong working knowledge of TypeScript and React or Next.js.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Working knowledge of Python and backend application logic.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and familiarity with authentication approaches such as JWT.
• Strong debugging, optimization, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
