Visionaire Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a technology-driven, contract role in St. Louis. You will develop Web and .NET-based applications, lead design reviews, and collaborate with business leaders to convert strategic goals into technical specifications.

You will participate in architecture discussions, document designs, and help define tasks and resources. The role emphasizes best practices and modern tooling, with a hybrid schedule in a top-tier enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full lifecycle software development in enterprise environments.
• Core tech stack: C#, .NET Framework/ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, Web Services/APIs.
• Web fundamentals: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML.

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying Web and .NET-based applications and services.
• Leading and conducting design and code reviews for peers and junior developers.
• Participating and advocating for issue resolution and change control processes.
• Translating business objectives into technical specifications and applications.
• Leading architecture and design meetings for major components and subsystems.
• Documenting designs for components and subsystems.
• Assisting with defining and estimating project task effort and resources.

Exciting contract opportunity for someone who loves technology, and is highly motivated to be successful and grow their career as a Senior Software Engineer within a top notch enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying Web and .NET-based applications and services
• Leading and conducting design and code reviews for both peers and junior developers
• Participating and being an advocate for issue resolution and change control processes
• Working closely with business leaders to understand strategic and financial objectives and then translating them into technical specifications and applications
• Leading and participating in architecture and design meetings for major components and sub-systems
• Developing and documenting designs for components, modules and sub-systems
• Assisting Director with defining and estimating project task effort and required resources
• Recommending and driving best practices, standards, processes and tools

This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2026. Candidates must be located in St. Louis, MO and work 4 days a week in office and 1 day remotely (Friday)!
