Lyft is hiring a software engineer to build and own features end-to-end, from specs through deployment. You will shape frontend architecture for modern web apps using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, collaborating across teams to integrate new technologies and align with business priorities.

Responsibilities include writing maintainable, well-tested code, mentoring through code reviews, and partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements.

Experience:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in job offered, software development, or related occupation.

Skills:

• Experience with Python and Flask.
• Experience with AWS services (DynamoDB and SQS) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $138,000 - $192,000/year. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
