Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph; U.S. citizen.

Location: National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX

This position applies software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The engineer works within cross-functional teams to implement features that meet technical, functional, and security requirements throughout the software lifecycle.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
