Job summary

ZLINE Kitchen and Bath in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time software engineer to design and maintain full-stack internal applications. You will collaborate with the software team to implement ASP.NET and Go Web APIs, deploy to Azure, and enhance both back-end services and front-end features for internal and customer-facing apps.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE or related field and at least 3 years of software engineering experience, with strong REST/API integration knowledge and Git proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of back-end languages such as C#, Go, Apex/Java, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of API and non-API integrations and REST fundamentals.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Proficiency with relational database design and implementation.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full-stack software development and support projects for ZLINE.

About The Role

A person in this role will collaborate with other members of the software engineering team to develop new and maintain full-stack internal software. This person will have working experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including custom development, external integrations, case lifecycle management, and API enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full-stack software development and support projects for ZLINE.
• Meet with peers from the software development team to define the scope and scale of new software projects.
• Design ASP.NET and Go Web API services, execute database migrations, and deploy releases on hosted Microsoft Azure environments.
• Develop and maintain front-end features for internal and customer-facing applications
• Evaluate new developer tools, including AI-assisted coding and productivity tools
• Perform code reviews, acceptance tests, and E2E tests.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one back-end language such as C#, Go, Apex/Java, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of Integrations (API and non-API integrations). Understanding of REST fundamentals.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of MS Azure
• Knowledge of Docker
• NoSQL understanding and experience, particularly MongoDB

• Understanding and hands-on experience with Salesforce development

Working Hours & Hours of Operation:

Monday -Thursday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch & Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch

Reno, NV - in person/on-site, not remote

Pay dates are biweekly
