ZLINE Kitchen and Bath, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day financial activities, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and support audits in a detail-oriented, independent manner.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with teams across the organization to maintain strong financial controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, Google Workspace, Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure proper accounting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with financial records.
• Monitor movement of funds in and out of bank accounts.
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation for audits.

The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company. This includes recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, receiving funds, and the payment of bills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Bank Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with financial records.

Funds Movement:

• Supporting accounts receivable activity
• Monitoring the movement of funds both in and out of bank accounts.
• Maintaining relationships with both customers and vendors.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in using business software: NetSuite, Excel, Google Workspace, Salesforce, etc.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch
