Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman to support SETA activities in Hanover, MD. You will design, develop and install software that meets DoD coding standards and technical design requirements.

The role includes building high-quality software and participating in testing and certification processes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of DoD software engineering experience, with active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or computer programming preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience in a DoD environment.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER, JOURNEYMAN

The company is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and install software solutions.
• Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.
• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming degree preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer within the DoD environment (preferred degree post-secondary education may be substituted for 1 year of experience. 2 years of industry experience may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 3 years)

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required (Poly may be required)

TRAVEL
