Job summary

Trust In SODA is seeking an early-career software engineer to own customer problems from discovery through design, engineering and delivery. You’ll work directly with users to understand real manufacturing challenges and build full-stack solutions with TypeScript, React, Node.js and Python.

You will join a small, hands-on team that values learning, reasoning through uncertainty and shipping working products with pragmatic, iterative decisions.

$175,000 - $220,000 base + equity | New York or San Francisco | 5 days onsite

SODA has partnered with an AI and manufacturing technology company building software for autonomous factories. You'll join a 23-person team where engineers own customer problems from first conversation through to shipped product.

For an early-career engineer, the scope is unusual: you won't sit behind layers of product management. You'll work with users, make product and technical decisions, and build solutions yourself.

The Opportunity

You'll join a 14-person product engineering group working alongside a 7 person AI team. You'll get close mentorship while taking responsibility for problems that affect real manufacturing operations.

The stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js and Python. What matters more is how you learn, reason through uncertainty and turn difficult problems into working products.
