Job summary

NOSO is seeking a Founding Software Engineer in San Francisco, on-site, to join as our first full-time engineer and help design our product from the ground up. You will build end-to-end features, shape the technology stack, and bring AI-driven capabilities to market with the founding team.

You will own full-stack work across React Native front-end and Python back-end, integrate LLMs, handle enterprise data, and optimize models for scale.

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2025 or 2026 with CS/EE or related field.
• GPA 3.7 or higher.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and NLP/AI concepts.
• Experience with large datasets (Pandas, NumPy) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for AI and impact in the trades industry.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features across React Native frontend and Python backend.

The Role

As Founding Software Engineer, you will be our first full-time engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping our product and technology stack from the ground up. You will work closely with the founding team to design and build features end-to-end, bringing new AI-driven capabilities to market. This is not a standard internship or part-time role, you'll be a core member of the team, writing production-quality code and making high-impact decisions from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features across our React Native mobile frontend and Python backend, from idea to production
• Design and integrate LLMs and other AI models into our applications, including data collection, fine-tuning, and deployment
• Handle enterprise customer data and APIs, build data pipelines to clean, store, and analyze large datasets
• Test and validate model performance, optimize for efficiency, and ensure reliability at scale
• Take ownership across the stack, from backend services and database schemas to intuitive mobile UI
• Work closely with product, AI, and design to turn customer needs into technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• New Graduate: Bachelor's or Master's in CS, EE, or a related field, graduating in 2025 or 2026
• GPA of 3.7 or higher
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and basic NLP/AI concepts
• Comfortable with large datasets (Pandas, NumPy) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
