Job summary

Trust In SODA in San Francisco is seeking a senior product engineer to take ownership of high-impact problems from idea to production. The role is hands-on, engineering-led, with a focus on shipping features end-to-end and pluggable AI tooling.

$200,000–$250,000 base + equity | San Francisco | 5 days onsite

SODA is working with a fast-scaling, Series A-backed startup building voice agents for a $600bn industry. Their agents handle booking, follow-ups and the day-to-day work that used to require a human on the phone around the clock.

Already profitable and with PMF, this is a lean, engineering-led team with no PM layer between you and the customer. You'll take zero-to-one ownership of problems end to end: talking to customers, shaping the solution, building it, and living with the outcome. Stack is TypeScript-led.

What they're looking for:

• Strong product engineering instincts, comfortable owning a problem from idea to production with no one else driving it
• Full-stack capability, happy working in TypeScript
• Evidence of building real products end to end, ideally including recent hands‑on use of AI dev tools (Claude, Cursor, or similar) to ship features, not just prototype with them
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving, in‑person team environment
