Software Engineer| $180- $250,000| Python & Event Driven Architectures | New York

Albert Bow have partnered with an AI platform, that are transforming how investment professionals work! Their clients span private equity, investment banking, private credit, and alternative asset management. They've built an "intelligent deal workspace" that helps dealmakers accelerate sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and investor relations through agentic AI.

The Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for building the server-side architecture that powers their platform. You'll work directly with their Client Success, Product, and Engineering teams to develop robust, scalable solutions that handle the demanding workflows of institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Server-side architecture: Design and implement backend logic for data processing, integration workflows, and agentic AI orchestration
• Database design & optimization: Create and maintain efficient database schemas (MongoDB, Redis) with a focus on data integrity and security
• API development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs that enable seamless communication between frontend, backend, and third-party integrations (Datasite, Grata, etc.)

What You Bring

• Advanced Python proficiency with production-grade code quality
• RESTful API development experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs
• MongoDB and Redis expertise - comfortable working with both document and in-memory data stores
• Distributed systems & multi-threading knowledge - strong experience with event driven architectures, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Pub Sub.
• Interest in LLMs and generative AI - familiarity with how language models are integrated into applications
• Problem-solving ability and collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
