Actalent is seeking a seasoned embedded software engineer to design and develop hard real-time C++ software for munitions-related systems. You will provide technical leadership and oversee requirements, architecture, implementation, integration and verification across the full lifecycle.
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and safety and cybersecurity activities while driving formal reviews, customer deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration to meet quality, cost, and schedule
Formación
- Five years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Strong experience with hard real-time embedded C++, OOD, and RTOS or bare-metal platforms.
- Experience with software lifecycle processes, verification, safety-critical requirements, and cybersecurity is desirable.

Design and develop hard real-time embedded C++ software for munitions-related systems, while providing technical leadership and overseeing the full software lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, and verification. Coordinate project schedules, resources, safety and cybersecurity activities, formal reviews, customer deliverables, and cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Requires at least five years of professional software development experience, a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience), and strong experience with hard real-time embedded C++, object-oriented design, and RTOS or bare-metal platforms. Candidates should also have experience with software lifecycle processes, verification, safety-critical requirements, project planning and reporting, and collaboration across engineering teams; cybersecurity certification is highly desirable.
