Actalent is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to contribute to full SDLC for military and commercial programs in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain real-time software with a focus on end-user needs and system integration.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of experience, C++ real-time development on Linux/VxWorks, and scripting proficiency. U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance are required before starting.

Contribute to the full software development life cycle for military and commercial programs, from requirements and design through development, integration, testing, and maintenance. Develop solutions to complex system and software integration problems in collaboration with Systems Engineers, with attention to end-user and operational needs.
