My 30+ year client in Hartford, Connecticut, is a manufacturer of custom, extremely complex automated biotechnology equipment, and is expanding its software/firmware group. We need two ambitious software engineers with a passion for robotics and automated equipment.

This is an amazing opportunity to combine your love of software development with your interest in robotics and automated equipment into a challenging, rewarding career. These positions are on‑site, five days a week, in Hartford, CT. Relocation assistance is available.

Junior Software Engineer – Hartford, CT

Responsibilities

Lead and develop software for automation controls in complex biotech equipment. Work closely with robotics, mechanical, and electrical teams to integrate software solutions that control physical motion and equipment. Assist in maintaining and improving firmware for robotic systems.

Qualifications

• Fluency and experience in programming, developing software in Java, JavaScript, Python, or other object‑oriented 4GL languages
• Strong understanding of robotics, automated equipment, or machinery controls
• BS/BA in Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• Experience with C/C++, Rust, or other modern languages is a plus
• Must be US citizen or permanent resident
