Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions for a growing set of products. You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to build reliable applications and services that meet business and user needs.

This role requires 5+ years of full-stack experience, strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and SQL/NoSQL databases, with cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles, programming methodologies, and engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated experience developing microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON-based services.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance or mentorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and supporting distributed or microservices-based systems.
• Experience working with cloud-native application architectures.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production or performance issues.

Pay range and compensation package

70K to 75K Per Year
