This role partners with product, engineering, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver applications aligned with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of full-stack development experience, with strong expertise in Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server, along with experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. The engineer will own features throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.

Success in this role requires strong problem‑solving skills, collaboration within Agile and global teams, and a commitment to engineering excellence through high-quality code, technical documentation, code reviews, and the effective use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and software quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions across front-end, back-end, and database layers.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical design, API design, and platform enhancements while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL Server databases, and system integrations.
  • Ensure software quality through secure coding practices, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements to ensure system reliability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and take ownership of features from design through deployment and production support.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for user stories, spikes, solution designs, API specifications, implementation details, and operational procedures.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and software delivery while adhering to engineering standards.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices, contributing ideas that improve product quality, team efficiency, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, combined with a strong passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
  • 3–5 years of full-stack software development experience, with proven hands‑on delivery across front-end, back-end, and database layers in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in Node.js REST API development (primary skill), including experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and KOA, along with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS and RESTful API design.
  • Strong SQL Server expertise, including writing and optimizing T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query performance tuning to ensure efficient data retrieval and data integrity.
