Job summary

KNAPP North America in Kennesaw, GA seeks a Team Lead SWDEV to manage the software development team, plan projects, and ensure adherence to processes. You will coordinate with the Leading Developer and department head to optimize resource use and meet milestones. The role requires strong English communication and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of employee management and conflict resolution.
• Specialist knowledge in software development.
• Understanding of warehouse logistics procedures, processes and solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues orally and in writing.
• Written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of estimation methods used for software development.
• Strong knowledge of internal processes and tools.
• Knowledge of KNAPP products and how they work in the system.

Responsibilities

• Regular monitoring of team milestones and costs (hours) relevant to software development.
• Assess incoming projects for feasibility within timeframes and resources.
• Allocate LD to projects and coordinate with department head.
• Coordinate with LD and developers to anticipate technical difficulties and delays.
• Escalate issues to superiors when required.
• Organize team assessments with LD collaboration.
• Serve as central point of contact for organizational questions outside the department.
• Ensure adherence to development processes and inter-department interfaces.
• Report on ongoing developments to department management.
• Schedule personnel and updates in resource and work plans.
• Approve vacation and time off.
• Share knowledge with entrusted and other employees.
• Conduct regular reviews of LD's performance against targets.
• Prepare and conduct job interviews with subsequent candidate assessments.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
