Job summary

Intelliguard is seeking a Software Development Team Lead in Columbus, OH, a hybrid role combining hands-on coding with leadership. You will design, develop, and evolve our software and cloud platform, using React/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

You’ll mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices across CI/CD, testing, and releases. You’ll collaborate with Product and UX/UI to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions, while guiding

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience.
• JavaScript and modern JavaScript development.
• Node.js and Next.js experience.
• Backend services and APIs development experience.
• Python experience for Python-based services.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases.
• PostgreSQL data modeling and optimization.
• AWS-based cloud applications experience.
• Cloud architecture for scalability, security, and reliability.
• REST APIs and modern web app architectures.
• Git and modern software development practices.
• Automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to lead technical projects and influence decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on coding alongside leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of features from concept to production.
• Build reusable React components and scalable frontend architecture.
• Develop backend services and APIs with Node.js, Next.js, and Python.
• Work with SQL and PostgreSQL for data models, queries, and integrations.
• Design and maintain cloud-hosted apps on AWS and related services.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX/UI to translate needs into solutions.
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers; address technical debt.
• Partner with engineering leadership on team planning and hiring.
• Drive testing, CI/CD, documentation, and release processes.
