Job Title: Software Development Manager/ Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager/Team Lead to lead cross-functional engineering teams responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions. This role combines technical leadership, project management, people management, and hands-on development responsibilities in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple software development projects.
• Partner with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements, establish priorities, and ensure successful product delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, resource allocation, and release planning activities.
• Provide technical leadership across application design, development, integration, deployment, and support functions.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams through coaching, performance management, regular feedback sessions, and recruiting efforts.
• Promote Agile and Scrum best practices while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
• Contribute directly to development efforts by spending approximately 10-15% of your time coding and maintaining familiarity with the technology stack.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Seven or more years of software development experience.
• At least two years of experience leading software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based applications and multi-tier architectures.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification (or willingness to obtain certification within the first year).
• Agile, Scrum, or PMI certifications.
• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
