Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Software Development Manager/Team Lead in Cary, NC to guide cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role blends technical leadership, project management, people management, and hands-on coding (10-15%).

You will partner with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements, manage scope and risk, and ensure timely product delivery while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with leadership of teams.
• Experience with Agile environments and multiple simultaneous projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development projects.
• Define requirements and priorities with product managers and stakeholders.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, resource allocation, and releases.
• Provide technical leadership across design, development, integration, deployment and support.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams through coaching and performance management.
• Promote Agile and Scrum best practices and foster a high-performing culture.
• Spend 10-15% of time coding and staying current with the stack.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
