Job summary

Amazon is seeking an exceptional software development leader to drive the FSx for NetApp ONTAP service in New York City. You will own your team's roadmap, hire and grow engineers, and collaborate with product, principal engineers, and senior leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable storage solutions at AWS scale.

You will lead an established engineering team, align projects with business goals, and ensure reliability, performance, and operational excellence across a distributed storage

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years of working directly within engineering teams.
3+ years of designing or architecting multi-tier web services.
8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services.
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks lifecycle.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of software engineers in delivery and operational excellence of an AWS service
Hire, mentor, and promote engineers
Work with teams across AWS to build new solutions
Build mechanisms to drive the highest standards within your team
